There aren’t that many spots in OKC that serve Chicken n Waffles – but I found one of them unexpectedly last week while enjoying breakfast at… (drum roll please…) Beverly’s “Chicken in the Rough”!
Beverly’s has been around forever (well, as long as this chick can remember!) serving hot breakfast and fantastic fried chicken. Formerly located near Penn Square Mall, their current location is right across from Integris Baptist Hospital on Northwest Expressway.

Beverly’s is a great Sunday brunch spot, serving what I would consider “diner food”. Your traditional breakfast items (eggs, omelets, hash browns, grits, toast, and fabulous blueberry pancakes), to lunch specials like the Chicken n Waffles. If you’re looking for a quick, inexpensive, and good spot to get a quick bite to eat, check out Beverly’s.
